the rest and be thankful inn is perfectly located for exploring exmoor. the staff were super friendly and helpful, especially when they helped us find a room at royal oak. the breakfast was excellent, and we really loved the atmosphere. it's a must-visit for their famous roast dinners too!

Perfect spot for exploring!
Had a lovely stay! The staff here were super friendly and made us feel right at home. Our room was clean and comfy, and the food was amazing—those roast dinners really hit the spot! Only thing was the bar area felt a bit cramped during dinner. But overall, a great place to chill after a day of hiking!

Couple seeking nice experiences
Breakfast was lovely as it was arranged the night before and there was a great choice of hot and cold breakfast. We also dined in the hotel the night before and the food was really delicious.
It wasn't exactly cheap but still acceptable.
